The above model is intended to convey the fact that the total commitment of, for example, the Program Faculty and Staff to the Program Goals and Objectives brings the Faculty and Staff itself en rapport through the broken lines (a), (b), or (c) with the Harmonious Relationship existing between the other groups: Administration, Faculty and Staff, and Student Body. It is the General atmosphere in which the Faculty operates that benefits. If we replace "Faculty and Staff" in the diagram with the Program in its entirety — then "Administration" in the model becomes the University Authorities from the President's Office down, and the entire Student Body on campus replaces that of the "Student Body." The "Program Goals and Objectives" must then embrace the purpose for which the University was founded, and the Program's commitment and contribution to the mission of the University. This must not be overlooked.
