| HieroGraphics Online has added to Chief Fela Sowande's "Program Harmony Model" a fourth Center of Total Commitment — "Program Parents and Community." With this addition, the model includes the four primary constituencies of any African-centered educational program that must be in harmony, en rapport, and exhibit total commitment to each other. This "extended" model also takes on symbolically as well as actually a form that reflects the basic African-centricity of the overall program structure and curricular content. This figure is the base of a pyramid which, when pulled out from the center, has the Program's Goals and Objectives at its apex, and the four harmonized Centers of Total Commitment at its four corners. Figure 3, which follows shows this relationship graphically and presents an interpretation of the spiritual meaning of the Great Pyramid and describes the natural, spiritual forces embodied in these otherwise disparate educational components harmoniously working together. |
